I want you so badly I'm losing my mind I want you so badly It's just about time I want you so badly So bad that it hurts I want you so badly I pray that this works 'Cause I've paid my dues And I've spent my time All I want is you I'm going out of my mind I want you so badly Deep down in my soul I want you so badly So just take ahold They say that you want me Deep down in your soul So if you want me Just grab ahold

Many Miles 03:55
I have found That I'm not down With the state of things in me And I know I'm Not quite alive What does that say of me? So I have traveled Many miles Just to kill these thoughts in me And I have seen The good and bad Hoping that that sets me free
3.
Heaven is all around Can you feel it now? Heaven is all around In the air and in the ground Heaven is all around In the here and now
4.
Keep Trying 03:54
I wanted to be good And I wanted to be true But everything I want's Not everything I do And you say that you want me Well baby keep trying And you say that you need me Well baby I'm dying I wanted to be good And I wanted to be right I guess all that it is Is that I haven't seen the light
5.
Fire/Clouds 05:24
Everyone is old and dumb Tell me, are You the same? I ask the world why I sold my soul All I can think is Your name Oh, my God, where are You now? In the fire or in the clouds? I have seen the fear in her eyes Tell me why she has to die All I've seen, I've cried and I've cried Tell me if You've ever cried Oh, my God, where are You now? In the fire or in the clouds? Oh, my God, where are we now? I love You, but I have my doubts I've wanted to see You I've wanted to feel You I've wanted to know You for so long
6.
You don't have to worry Don't be afraid You don't have to hide anymore No more tears on your face There's no more waiting for Superman to come I'll be here with you, I'll be holding your hand We'll cry it out, we'll work it out But for now, there's no more waiting for Superman to come You don't have to fear Your hero is here You don't have to run anymore You're tired anyway No more sorrow, no more pain I'll be here for you when it rains No more sadness, no more dust I'll be here for you when you rust No more beating, no more death I'll be with you every step No more places you can run I'll be here from sundown to sunup
7.
Hold onto me I will wait And see Hold onto you I will hold Onto you Hold onto light You will find What's right Hold onto truth I will find I'll find you Hold onto love You just hold Onto love
8.
Someday 03:03
I won't run and hide I will face the night I won't run and hide away I will take your hand If I only can I will take your hand someday I will fly someday If I only knew Just what I could do If I only knew today
9.

about

"Midway upon the journey of our life
I found myself within a forest dark,
For the straightforward pathway had been lost."
- Dante Alighieri

I once had a conversation with a friend. She is Alive. I asked her about a song I wrote and she told me what she thought of it. It was a fine conversation and her definition of the song that I had written was better than mine, so it felt good. But then the conversation got a little deeper.

We began to talk about Life. And when you talk about Life with a Dead person in the room, the conversation gets a little heavy. I was feeling Dead at the time. (Now that I think of it, maybe that knowledge of Death showed that I was, in fact, somewhat Alive too. Nevertheless, I was feeling Dead and I knew it.) I had also once felt Alive.

But she described my previous Alive-ness like a box. And this was a beautiful box. And in this box I put many things that were precious to me. But as I learned new things, I built a sledgehammer. And eventually I decided to take that sledgehammer to my box because, as beautiful as it was, my box was getting heavy.

She said that she had once destroyed her box too.

And then she told me that she put it back together. But this time her box was a little more open and her arms were spread wide. I said that I wanted my box to be more open and my arms to be spread wide.

She said that that was what made her Alive.
